I'm teaching at FNW this Friday!

Please come out to my PA-FNW teaching debut!
Since this is the day before FNW's Brassworks Strauss Ball in Oakland (which you should attend also), they think attendance might be low. Please come take my classes before the dance, as I'd really like to give them a good reason to invite me back. You want them to invite me back too, because I'm awesome. But I'm not awesome without you, because I'd just be dancing by myself (hmm, that's not so bad actually...), so come out to the class! You'll learn some awesome steps so you can be more awesome like me!
OK, I'm retiring that word now.

Mazurka!

Sam Simmons is teaching intermediate Mazurka steps and variations at Friday Night Waltz!

Rene Rodgers will be assisting teaching for the evening.

Intermediate Mazurka steps are very similar to everyone's favorite "flying" Redowa steps, while being easier to learn.

7pm Beginning/Intermediate Mazurka – We'll start at the very beginning, learning the "Gaskells/Fezziwigs" Mazurka step, before quickly moving on to replacing the basic waltz with fun Mazurka steps and variations!
Knowledge of basic turning rotary waltz required.

8pm Intermediate/Advanced Mazurka – Starting where the last class left off, these steps will take you soaring around the floor in a variety of ways in a great alternative to the Redowa.
Knowledge of basic (Gaskells/Fezziwigs) Mazurka a must. Willingness to fly and 7pm class highly encouraged.
