The Waltz Weekend combines waltz technique and variations with secrets for great partnering. The material surpasses that offered in the Dance Division's social dance classes and will include:
• Viennese Waltz
• Shadow figures in Rotary and Viennese Waltz
• New Cross-Step Waltz variations
• Air Redowa
• Waltz Blues
• Underarm turns in Viennese and Rotary Waltz
• Cross-Step Oddities
and more, while having a wonderful time
in the arms of great dance partners

THE SCHEDULE for the Waltz Weekend will be
Friday 7-10pm
Saturday 9am-4:30pm
Sunday 10am-2pm.
Sunday Ball with live music 8-11pm.
More than 16 hours of dancing!


Material covered in the weekend will be different from last year's Waltz Weekend.
Most sessions will be taught by Richard and Angela, with shorter classes by Joan, Ryan and Monica.


Experience Level: Intermediate or higher
Prerequirement: Know a basic turning waltz (any kind)
Tuition: $90 per person, which includes the Sunday night Ball.



THE SETTING: The Roble Studio (map) features one of the largest sprung wooden dance floors in Northern California. The cool, sunny South Bay climate has proven to be ideal for both indoor and outdoor settings.
