Our annual Halloween party. Friday Oct 24 Palo Alto

Richard Powers and Mirage Marrou teach intermediate classes from 7 to 9 pm. Richard is our dance music DJ from 9pm to midnight. 7 and 8pm - A special double class: New On-the-Fly Waltz Variations, Part 2. This has been an especially creative month with an explosion of new rotary waltz variations. Richard has been both collecting and developing new waltz variations, between Friday Night Waltz, his Tuesday night classes, and his out-of-town waltz weekends. Tonight's 14 variations will include triple free spins (they're surprisingly easy), new crossed-hand variations, new wraps, transitions to wedding cake, face loops, and which ones also work with cross-step waltz. You need not have taken Part 1 to enjoy this second set - just know a basic turning waltz.

Decadance is performing some of their spookiest routines! Welcome back Decadance! Decadance is a social dance performance group that strives to make traditional couple-dancing less traditional. Our purpose is to be interesting and inspirational for all types of audiences, and to make our audiences want to dance as much as we do.

Tom Hill teaches an introductory waltz class from 7 to 9 pm . To get the most from this class, try to start at 7pm. Excellent first time class

$12 for both the classes and the dance. $8 students. Sorry due to additional costs for food for our Halloween party, no special pricing for dance only. No partner necessary. All Ages. Casual comfortable attire. Under 18 must be accompanied by parent or guardian.
